About the Author
Eric Smith has spent a lifetime on the water — and in the thick of everything that floats, leaks, or mysteriously vanishes.
Over the course of his career, he has:
Founded three yacht businesses,
Two Charter Companies
Three websites,
Conducted over 300 seminars and webinars,
Written 100's of blogs and articles.
He has sold more than 1,500 boats,
Helped set up over 1,000 boats as a business for clients, and helped numerous associates set up their own business
Represented at least 10 different sail and power-boat manufacturers.
Competed as a successful sailboat racer.
He also worked as a technical writer, consultant, entrepreneur, and ringmaster of the occasional dockside circus. He’s appeared and lectured at 54 Annapolis Boat Shows — which might be a record, or at least a really good streak.
